The partial latent fingerprint shown below on the left-side of the chart panel, was identified by government fingerprint experts as being a portion of the defendant's [left ring finger] fingerprint. I observed at the outset that the defendant's "Inked" print had two opposing "ridge-endings" that were not found in the same relative location on  "Latent Fingerprint" (yellow boxes). The absence of the two ridge-endings from the latent print nullified the government's fingerprint evidence.
