Home Handwriting Fingerprinting EPA Exhibits Contact

Today the need for my services most often arises when there is a challenge to the authenticity of a signature on a will, deed, check, or other instrument. Over the last forty-six years, I have investigated countless documents in order to authentic signatures, establish authorship, or investigate some other aspect of handwriting. In conjunction with that in many instances I am also asked to develop, compare, and/or interpret latent fingerprint placement on a document to determine who handled it and how. In the last thirty months I have testified many times at criminal and civil trials in connection with forensic matters involving forgery, authorship of writings, and authenticity of signatures. But, while testifying in court is important, it is only the tip of the iceberg, I have undertaken several hundred handwriting investigations where the issues get resolved without testimony. In some cases the results  may not serve the client's interest and they fall by the wayside. It is not unusual to attend court after twenty, thirty, or even fifty hours of document examination and trial preparation only to have the adverse party litigant capitulate upon viewing my very powerful evidentiary exhibits and evaluating my professional demeanor. Out of the many document investigations I have conducted over the last two years, it was necessary to testify in only eight, but all of those were resolved in favor of my client.
